Jayne Goulding Design creates and produces embroidery swatches for fashion and interior clients globally from the practice's studio in Bristol. The practice also designs collections which are shown seasonally at Première Vision and Create Design Studios in Paris.

Jayne Goulding loves embroidery. A designer and collaborator with over 20 years experience and expertise in the fashion and textiles industry, Jayne is a researcher dedicated to craft, exploration and discovery of new and innovative techniques and processes.

Résumé

Jayne Goulding studied textiles specialising in machine and hand embroidery at Nottingham Trent University. Jayne has worked in London designing for high street retailers, suppliers and designers across womenswear, print, embroidery and lingerie.

Jayne Goulding completed an MA (with distinction) in fashion and textiles at Bath Spa School of Art and Design in 2015. Jayne was selected by Texprint (now Tex+) in 2015 to show in Paris, at Première Vision where the collection created a buzz and sold well.

The Jayne Goulding Design practice launched with AW 17/18 collection in September 2016 at Première Vision, and continues to show each season.

Jayne Goulding has also taught undergraduate and post graduate students and has worked as an embroidery technical demonstrator. She does occasional visiting lecturing work.

Over the last few years she has had the great privilege to be one of the judges of mixed media and embroidery, on the panel of TEX+ .
